After recently premiering its SS20 collection, outdoor-focused Japanese brand and wander has collaborated with Salomon for a sleek Reflective Mesh Sneaker. Dressed in elegant gray tones, the streamlined silhouette is based on Salomon’s XA Amphib Bold, but offers a look all its own.

Stately gray-hued uppers offer a technical mix of quick-drying materials that range from mesh to neoprene and suede to synthetics, with reinforcement arriving via a fused toe cap. Co-branded detailing is provided by a Salomon strike on the quarter plus and wander text graphics running down the throat.

The technical look even extends to the white bungee-style laces, with a toggle that’s hidden by a cut-out tongue overlay. Hi-vis reflective accents dispersed thorough add low-light flair. Thin midsoles with a standard outsole pattern give off a look that’s more runner than hiker, but Contagrip technology ensures that the wearer will be able to keep their footing in any and all inclement conditions.

The and wander x Salomon Reflective Mesh Sneaker retails for $259 USD, and is available now at stockists like END.

Elsewhere in the ever-expanding world of collaborations, COMME des GARÇONS HOMME and New Balance have teamed up for made in the US RC1300s, complete with Vibram soles.
