Born from a shared ambition to shatter creative barriers, the WINDOWSEN x Nike Air Max Muse collaboration is officially here, transporting a classic silhouette into a cyber-futuristic dimension. This daring reinterpretation, which first debuted on the Shanghai Fashion Week runway, is the brainchild of Nike and WINDOWSEN founder Sensen Lii.
Lii re-envisions the Air Max Muse through a cyber-futuristic lens, using organic, almost biological structures and emotive design that makes the shoe feel alive. As Lii explains, he wanted to explore the future of sport “not just in how we move, but in how we express who we are,” aligning perfectly with Nike’s commitment to youth culture.
The sneaker drops in two contrasting colorways — “Metallic Silver/Black-Rage Green-White” and “Metallic Gold/Chili Red-Arora Green-Racer Blue” — capturing WINDOWSEN’s signature tension. The design is packed with hidden “design riddles,” including morphing prints that shift with every step, extraterrestrial symbols, and a mysterious detachable alien-head lace charm. Lii calls the sneaker a “portal to the unknown WINDOWSEN universe,” blending couture precision with cyber irony.
More than just footwear, the Air Max Muse is a “Style Passport” for uninhibited self-expression. It encourages wearers to break convention and sprint toward the unknown. The collection is available this October via SNKRS and select Nike retailers.
