Nike and renowned stylist Veneda Carter are officially adding dimension to their ongoing partnership with a striking new colorway of the collaborative Air Max Muse.
Serving as the designer’s second expression of the futuristic silhouette, the latest Nike Air Max Muse combines a nostalgic 1990s retro running aesthetic with a contemporary application of color and texture. Pulled directly from Carter’s research at the Department of Nike Archives, the design is heavily inspired by classic running shoes that utilized cool, shiny materials and brighter, eye-catching color palettes.
Built to be a versatile statement piece that can be effortlessly styled with any outfit, the sneaker’s softly exaggerated proportions and heightened arch immediately draw attention to the iconic Air technology housed in the heel. Glossy Racer Blue highlights accentuate the shoe’s modern shape, while a metallic silver Swoosh sits prominently against a more subdued, dimpled base pattern. Rounding out the collaborative details, a special jewel Swoosh pendant adds an unexpected flash of high-end flair to the sporty design.
