Nike has officially unveiled the Air Max 95 Big Bubble Zip SP “Medium Olive/Alabaster,” a heavily modified take on the 1995 classic. Designed with utility at the forefront, this new iteration completely reconstructs the upper while reviving heritage tooling for enhanced comfort.
The Air Max 95 Big Bubble Zip SP removes the silhouette’s traditional staggered eyelets in favor of a protective zippered shroud running down the center line. This utilitarian addition conceals the inner mechanics of the shoe and is paired with an upper constructed from a durable mesh overlay and the model’s signature wavy side panels, which are rendered here in an earthy “Medium Olive” and “Alabaster” color scheme.
Down below, the midsole receives a significant structural upgrade with the implementation of “Big Bubble” technology. This tooling configuration boasts enlarged, highly visible Max Air units in both the forefoot and heel, maximizing impact absorption while referencing the exaggerated proportions found in Nike’s early Air Max prototypes.&
