Nike is officially preparing to launch the Air Max 95 “Human Torch” as part of its highly anticipated retro lineup. The striking colorway looks back to the brand’s legendary 2006 “Fantastic Four” pack to deliver a flame-inspired aesthetic.
The updated performance runner stays faithful to its bold comic book roots while introducing key structural modifications for the modern era. The upper construction utilizes a distinct layered arrangement that transitions through a vibrant spectrum of Deep Red, Orange Blaze, Varsity Maize, Max Orange, and Shock Orange. This gradient shift mimics a burning flame across the anatomically inspired side panels, contrasting against sharp white accents distributed across portions of the midsole layout.
Setting this version apart from its mid-2000s predecessor, the upcoming release is engineered with the brand’s oversized Big Bubble Air Max cushioning unit in the sole.
