Looks like Nike may potentially release the Air Max 95 “7-Eleven” at retail after 7-Eleven officially dropped its lawsuit against the sportswear brand. According to the latest court documents, the legal dispute surrounding the contentious sneaker has now been formally dismissed.

The legal conflict began in July 2026 when 7-Eleven filed a lawsuit to halt the rollout of the Air Max 95, claiming the shoe’s design mimicked its brand color scheme too closely. The company also sought to block a planned launch on July 11—nationally celebrated as 7-Eleven Day—arguing that consumers would mistakenly assume Nike was releasing an official collaboration with the brand.

Court records from October 19 indicate that 7-Eleven moved to dismiss the lawsuit with prejudice, barring the retailer from bringing future legal action against Nike on the same grounds. The filing was officially accepted by the court on October 20, with both parties ordered to pay their own attorney costs. No public details have been disclosed explaining why the suit was dropped or whether an out-of-court settlement was reached.

While the lawsuit attempted to stop the release, pairs leaked onto secondary platforms such as StockX, GOAT, and eBay prior to July, where they traded above retail prices. Nike has not announced a new release date or confirmed if the Air Max 95 “7-Eleven” will ever receive a public retail drop.
