The project follows prior joint efforts on the Air Max 95 and Air Trainer Huarache, shifting the partnership’s focus toward an automotive-inspired reinterpretation of the classic 2000s runner.
While the shoe retains the original model’s signature mechanical Shox heel column cushioning, the upper undergoes a notable reconstruction. Textured, raised horizontal lines wrap across the toe box and side profiles, complemented by sleek carbon fiber overlays evocative of modern sports car bodywork.
Automotive and brand-specific references continue throughout the exterior and interior detailing. A red “C” rendered in the recognizable Shox font sits atop “CRTZ SHOX” text branding on the tongue.
