Nike‘s Air Monarch IV has been given an understated makeover, a smooth “Phantom Gray” colorway for the throwback silhouette.

Popping out from the shoe’s ivory-toned uppers are bold “Metallic Gold” accents, like the embroidered “AIR Monarch” logo at the tongue, a woven Swoosh and “AIR” branding at the heel counter. Contrasting “Lucky Green” highlights appear throughout the shoe as well — at the edge of the tongue, heel pull and rear quarter. Crisp white leather panels at the quarter, eyelet panels, forefoot and toebox round up the details of the uppers. The shoe’s chunky sole, with its “AIR” marked heel stamp and gum outsole, offers a distinctly retro feel to complete the colorway’s minimal design.

The Nike Air Monarch IV “Phantom Gray” is currently available on Nike China’s website for $71 USD.

For more from Nike, the Dunk Low will be releasing in a premium “Medium Curry” colorway.
