Merrell Japan has just released new models to its 8th generation Chameleon Storm series of shoes. The road/hiking shoe heads towards a technical route with its new Vibram XS TREK EVO outsole, where lug size has been increased from 3mm to 5mm for better grip.
Other technological updates include a FLEXPLATE TPU plate, a Merrell Air Cushion, CLEANSPORT NXT odor control, and most importantly, a fully waterproof GORE-TEX membrane. The Merrell Chameleon 8 Storm is available in both a high-top and low-top variation, and in a spectrum of colors.
