Hot on the heels of New Balance‘s 57/40Incubation Pack” comes yet another bold take on the sportswear giant’s newest silhouette, this time around appearing in “Oyster Pink.”

As expected, the retro-inspired sneaker combines touches of the 574 with contemporary updates for a shoe that looks like it came right out of the ’90s, but still looks the part for today. It achieves this thanks to a heavy mix of paneling, while a large “N” emblem akin to the one on the 327 also adds to the modern aesthetic.

To highlight the upper’s multi-layered look, New Balance uses a palette of blues to cover the toe box in leather, the vamp, eyestay, and mudguard in suede, and the sock liner in a traditional cotton mix. This all intersects with a white leather “N” logo, yellow suede on the collar tab that sits above the gray suede heel clip and segments of gray leather, while a stacked sole unit that combines an orange clip with a chunky, curvaceous white midsole is finally paired with a gum outsole.

New Balance’s 57/40 “Oyster Pink” is expected to release at retailers such as 43einhalb on October 15, costing €129.95 EUR (approx. $150 USD). Take a closer look at the pair above.
