Nike and fragment design have unveiled the official images of the Mind 001 “Black,” a futuristic sneaker created under Hiroshi Fujiwara’s “Concept Testing” initiative.

22 interfratedsensory nodes within the midsole that move against the foot, designed to stimulate areas of the brain while walking. This sits atop soft foam cushioning for comfort and responsiveness. Dressed in matte black with touches of royal blue, the Nike Mind 001 features an alternative Flyknit upper and a mule fit, complete with engineered perforations for breathability that give the shoe a lightweight profile.

Branding is deliberately understated: the midsole carries sample‑style stamped text, reminiscent of prototype markings, while a small fragment lightning bolt logo.
