After being reimagined with sturdy Cordura, Reebok is now preparing its beloved Beatnik with tufted cords. Originally released back in 1993, the sandal style is a surviving icon in Japanese street culture that recently saw a resurgence thanks to a series of revamped releases.

Coming in “Dark Brown,” “Green,” “Navy,” the upcoming takes feature corduroy bases that accentuate the retro mule design. The slip-on constructions are assisted by adjustable velcro midfoot and heel straps connected by a Reebok marked clasp. Rounding up the design of the shoes are black contoured footbeds paired with matching toothy ridged rubber outsoles.

Priced at $120 USD, the corduroy Reebok Beatnik is set to release in “Dark Brown,” “Green,” “Navy” at Sneakersnstuff September 1, 1 p.m. CEST.
