The Who What Wear beauty team is made up of Miu Miu girls. Don’t believe me? The designer’s Miutine Eau de Parfum ($138) recently won a Who What Wear 100 Beauty Award under the best “playfully sweet” category, thanks to summery notes of strawberry and vanilla.

It’s no surprise, then, that we’re also fans of this stunning mango-spiked scent. It’s fresh like an ocean breeze and warm like sun-kissed skin, and it’s all thanks to a combination of tropical notes: juicy mango, creamy coconut milk, and velvety osmanthus. One spritz, and you’ll be whisked to a breezy cabana outside of a luxurious oceanside resort.

Fragrance notes: Mango, black pepper, vanilla

Citrus scents tend to be bright, sunny, and playful, rather than sultry or sensual. Vilhelm Parfumerie’s Mango Skin somehow encapsulates both hard-to-balance qualities. It combines its top-billed note (ripe, dripping mango) with a burst of blackberry, a bite of black pepper, and a warm base of vanilla. Last but not least, a tempting hint of pink sugar rounds out the scent. It’s sweet and sophisticated—the scent I’d wear if I were ever lucky enough to sip sunset cocktails on a superyacht.

I think the Dutch fragrance house, Fugazzi, creates some of the best scents on the market. In fact, it’s Angel Dust Eau de Parfum ($175) also won a Who What Wear 100 Beauty Award; this time under the best ‘second skin’ category.

This elixir is no less noteworthy. It’s bold, modern, and magnetic. Upon first spritz, you sense the mouthwatering mango note, but it quickly delves into a deeper, darker plane, thanks to notes of spicy saffron, musky leather, and earthy moss. In my opinion, it’s a true genderless fragrance. It’s also incredibly unique—so much so that I might even call it controversial. But as a beauty editor, I know that makes for the best can’t-stop-wearing, slow-burn scent.

Fragrance notes: Caribbean mango, whipped musk, vanilla

Inspired by Trinidad’s annual Carnivale celebration (known for its elaborate costumes and parades), this perfume mingles Bright Caribbean mango with whipped musk and warm, tantalizing vanilla. It’s an expressive elixir that channels feelings of revelry and festivity, using Trinidad’s sights, sounds, and flavors as its ultimate inspiration. A true gourmand scent, I could see vanilla lovers becoming totally fixated on it in the best way.

Formulated to evoke a “chic and sultry” tropical escape, Phlur’s Mango Mood Body & Hair Mist is one of my go-to scents each spring and summer. It’s definitely mango-forward, which is why I, as a citrus-lover, can’t get enough of it. However, it also has a subtle, sultry warmth, thanks to notes of jasmine and brown sugar that underlie it. I love spritzing it onto my sun-warmed skin and beach-tousled hair.

I think this is, hands down, one of the best beachy scents that money can buy, yet it’s often overlooked for Maison Margiela’s other popular perfumes. It’s inspired by Brazilian beaches: think “bossa nova” music and “endless horizons,” so it’s warm, vibrant, and fruity with notes of juicy mango, spicy cardamom, and smooth sandalwood. It literally smells like sunshine, bottled.

This version is its confident and relaxed older sister who spends her summers vacationing in lush, tropical climates.
